Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice 7pm Thursday September 18

Hello Readers,

Excuse the time delay.  A few of us thought that it may be good to get back to classics.  Do like longer classics but have decided against them for the moment.  Charles Dickens, George Eliot, Fyodor Doestoyevsky are amazing but are usually bricks in weight and volume.

So we have decided upon two novels about women.  In Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen the business of marriage as the only path available to women.  In Turn of the Screw by Henry James a woman in possession of a career or is she in possession?
